Wranglers are our youngest campers (grade 1st-3rd), and we feel they require special attention and extra TLC. To this end, we place extra staff in their cabins and give them the additional nurturing of female staff members. We find that our little guys do great with a “mom” influence in their cabins and activities.
We also give Wranglers extra support, through Program Staff, to navigate their class schedules and other activities. By allowing these little guys the responsibility to meet new friends and navigate their day, they learn independence, develop interests in new skills and begin a journey of increased self-confidence.
