Please also note that unless you have made arrangements with camp, you CANNOT arrive at camp any earlier than the day on your contract.

Transportation Notes

Flying

Kerrville Bus Co

For those of you who are planning to fly, we provide a shuttle from the San Antonio Airport to Camp La Junta in an attempt to make your trip easier. However, we can only provide transportation to those arriving the days before camp opening each term. Please note, we do not typically provide transportation for incoming CITs or for staff to get back to the airport after camp.

You must fly into the San Antonio Airport if you need transportation to camp. We will be unable to pick you up from any other airports, but will give you transportation details if that is the only connection you are able to secure. The San Antonio Airport is serviced by the major airlines including United, American, Continental, Southwest, Delta and US Airways. If your arrival date is June 1^st or 2^nd, please schedule your flight into the San Antonio area based around the following pickup times: 11:00am, 2:00pm, 4:00pm.

If you have any questions concerning this information please give us a call!! For those of you who are required to arrive early, we encourage you to arrange your flight plans ASAP. Please plan these flights around the dates and times of your planned arrival. All flights should be scheduled to arrive in San Antonio prior to 4:00 pm!
