Camp
La Junta
Confidential
Request for Reference
You
have been asked to complete a reference/recommendation form for
a potential Camp La Junta summer employee. We desire
people with enthusiasm, energy initiative, maturity,
sensitivity and a superior ability to get along with both
children and adults. Camp La Junta is a summer youth camp
in the Texas Hill Country. All staff members are
counselors counted upon to supervise cabins of 8-12 youth as
well as to instruct an activity 5 hours each day.
Employees work long days, from 7:30 am to 10:00 pm
for nine weeks. The position requires employees to
assume much responsibility as role model to impressionable 6 -
15 year olds. Because of the sensitivity and importance of
a position working with young people, we would appreciate your
candid opinion of this applicant.
